Join us as we give back to our local Okinawan community!

NOSCO is looking to provide volunteers to give the children at Ishimine orphanage a "Spring Break Fun Day!" We are partnering with "Help Oki" (http://www.helpoki.org/) to make this community outreach project happen. Bring your spouses and your kids and make it a fun event for the whole family!

When: Saturday March 26, 2016 10:30-16:00

10:30-11:30 Arrival and Set up of Bouncy House, Games, and get BBQ going
11:30-12:00- Eat
12:00- Station Leaders to Stations
12:05-15:00- Fun Day events and games
15:05- Group Photo
15:05-15:30- Tear down and pack up
15:30-16:00- Farewell

Who: The whole family!

What: This community service project will occur outside so please be sure to dress for the weather and wear sun protection. Ishimine is Okinawa's largest orphanage with children from ages 2 to 18 (until graduation) residing here. There are currently more than 125 children living at Ishimine. Some of the kids are in protective services from being victims of child abuse so we ask that volunteers take NO PHOTOS. There will be an official photographer present and copies of photos will be available for those who would like them. Help Oki has been sponsoring Ishimine Orphanage for over three years now.
