Welcome to the NOSCO Events page! We hope you join us at our next NOSCO gathering! The best way to find out what we are up to is by becoming a member and joining the private Facebook Group NOSCO Member Chat where we post events.

NOSCO provides fun and unique events for our membership. NOSCO events may include monthly philanthropic, educational, cultural, and social opportunities. Examples include island tours, bunco parties, and cultural demonstrations! Check back often for new and upcoming events, you may register and pay event fees all in one place. Thank you for supporting the Naval Officers' Spouses' Club of Okinawa!

Please Note: Due to COVID-19, we have had to be creative in the types of events offered, as well as flexible in the timing of our events (i.e., less advance notice and some last minute cancelations). We will do our best to keep you updated in the Facebook group NOSCO Member Chat and via email with the quarterly newsletter. Thank you for understanding! We hope to get to know you even with these unique challenges!

    Come Shop the new shipment at Fleet Gift Shop and run for a cause! 

    All proceeds will be donated to charitable funds including the Camp Butler Neighborhood Food Pantry, the AWWA, and scholarships. 

    On Sunday February 22nd beginning and ending at the Fleet Gift SHop on Camp Shields the 5k will begin at 9 am with a 1 mile shortly after.  These are both family friendly runs. 

    The cost of registration pays for entrance to the race and one medal (only for the 5k)  All medals are handcrafted at Oohama Koubou on Ishigaki Island and can be picked up at the Fleet Gift Shop the day of the race beginning at 8:15 am.  If you are not present for the race the medals will be available at the Fleet Gift shop during their regular hours.
